Should I get gold? ?

I am going to get the taken king legendary edition for Xbox one but i need to know whether gold is worth it or not and what i will miss out on when not having gold. Apart from crucible I am new here btw ;) Thanks

You wont be able to play anything that has other players in it. Possibly just the story. But you'll be soloing almost everything
