Vendors now sell Taken King gear etc, that's at high attack/defence levels. Those levels are the Taken King levels. Why would you be able purchase it? Eris and Petra aren't going to continue doing their bounties now that the Taken are here and due to events in the story. And again why would heroics and nightfall rotate to give access to lower levels? They are high level activities (and always have been) for end game TAKEN KING gear, not Vanilla gear. The Taken King is an overhaul, an expansion into year two. If you're not going to buy in then you can't expect everything to be the same. Like I said you can still do story missions, you can still do strikes, raids, prison of elders, patrol, crucible and vanguard bounties. You're not going to get better gear from these since that better gear would increase your light level beyond the year one cap....make sense. You can still go and do Crotas End and get given Black Hammer, you can still do Vualt of Glass and get Fatebringer. What about the people that have bought TTK? You shout about how you've thrown $100 at Destiny and now have no content. But you do. About the patrols, not all end with Taken. There's different ones, you just have to pick them by looking at the symbol above. And about not being able to have a higher difficulty on missions, strikes etc. I've never seen people complain about this before. No one complained that you couldn't put Vualt of Glass and Crota's End at level 34/35 did they.... Stop grasping at straws and you keep throwing that quote of a comment around as though it's your holy grail. You have everything from year one and can still play it. Year two is hear, vendors have changed, things have changed and you can't expect them to cater to year one with everything.
