Bungie is TAKING our money away.
This is so stupid. I paid 100 dollars on destiny. Now I can't play that anymore since I don't have TTK? Really? What the -blam!-. I can't even afford TTK right now. This is bullshit. I can't play destiny the game that so much memories came from and now I can't play it anymore. Is this even legal? Like now CMON. Now I regret buying destiny........

Obviously you can't do the nightfall and heroic and all that, but that makes sense. I'm getting the impression that people are mad because they can't reach the max level/light level without purchasing TTK... People need to remember that The Taken King is the start of year two, this isn't The Dark Below or House of Wolves.

1 ReplyI'm sorry man. I know this is probably something you don't want to hear but if destiny is a game you truly enjoy then just put some $ aside every month until you can get it, or better yet check eBay/craigslist for a cheap deal on the dlc. That's what I did. TTK=$17 (bid)

1 ReplyIt's easy to see from your replies than any kind of discussion with you other than what you want to hear is pointless. Fact of the matter is you still have all the content you paid for. Nightfall and weeklies were never advertised with every dlc and are not core content. Hell. There's not even a buff anymore from it. You are more than welcome to do vog, crota,poe or any of the story missions from the aforementioned dlcs. You are also welcome to continue to do classic crucible as you know it. Ask yourself: what need do you have to exceed 34? What need do you have for the vendors if you can't get to 40? You don't and never were entitled to them so you have nothing to complain about .

Walk down the busiest street in your town. Go up to everyone you pass and say "hi/excuse me do you have a dollar"? You should be able to buy TTK by the end of the day

1 ReplyIt's legal. Look at the Changes to the Agreement section. They should have given more of an advanced warning that some activities would no longer be available to those that did not buy TTK, or at least acknowledge it during the Twitch reveal. But I can't fault them for wanting the game to evolve.
