That's what I've heard too. Two shot from GG to kill a Sunbreaker with an active super. And Bungie even buffed the GG damage with the TTK update to "ensure" it's a one hit kill. I have a list of 4 things to take into consideration. What you said is one of them. In my opinion, only one of my ideas need to be done, and everything else will balance out for the subclass and put it on par with all the other Supers.

Well for the damage buff I feel it was done because radiant skin made warlock's more tank so rather than needing that they buffed the sunbreaker but then didn't buff the GG enough. Range, number of throws, or damage area could be reduced and it would be ideal. Personally I think it should have a max three hammers to throw.

That's exactly how I feel, and the exact same "4 things" I've thought about too. I've never had too much of a problem killing Radianced warlocks, or being killed as a radianced warlock(Sunsinger Main). But all those things you mentioned about sunbreaker are the possible changes I think bungie should take into consideration. Just picking one of them will make it perfectly in line with the other Supers. Personally, I'm not adverse to the whole "unlimited hammers" aspect of it, I don't mind it. A slower throw rate would inherently limit it to that sort of restricted setup anyway. I've read that people can manage to throw out 8-9 hammers in one go with the right perk setup, and that's bullshit. But if they dropped the throw rate just a hair or two, that would probably limit it to like maybe 5 max, and that'd be just fine for me. Their new subclass IS meant for taking offensive advantages after all. It's just too much and too fast is all. IMO, if the sunbreaker is decent enough of a player, you're probably not gonna live through his Super if he spots you. At least, that's been my experience so far. Only managed to kill ones that suck at the game so far. Even mediocre players are a force to be reckoned with as a Sunbreaker, and that's just not right.

Throw rate would probably be enough of a change. I guess it annoys me because it should be the hardest subclass to use. As a person that mains Hunter it's an extra annoyance as both the stormcaller and sunbreaker activate theirs in a fraction of the blade dancer's activation and do ranged damage. The stormcaller seems...harder to use than a sunbreaker but noobs can become a sunbreaker and dust run around throwing hammers every second completely making it op in crucible.

Exactly my sentiments. But of course, the Thorn-crutch loving-type douchebags gotta come in here and clutter the place up with hate and stupidity. Thank you for breaking up that monotony.

Oh the dark days of Thorne. The hand cannon that could only be challenged by The Last Word(bit of lore humor). Now the auto rifles are rising to try to reclaim their place as the go-to weapon.

I've noticed my Suros is slightly more effective than pre-TTK.. Usually I play with pulse rifles though. Oversoul Edict is mah bayby. lol

Like the pulse rifles but I'm happy that finally my scout rifle seems useful.

I started out with Scouts but I ended up getting Vex as my 1st exotic. Since then I've been using mainly pulse and auto rifles and now that TTK is out, there's a lot more Scouts going around, it seems, all my non-scout gameplay has degenerated my ability to be super-effective with them like I used to be before I got into Raiding. My playstyle has evolved into something much faster than it used to be and I just can't land the headshots when I need them. Thank Jesus for the Boolean Gemini scout lol Has perks that award either bonus armor on non-precision kills, that stacks! Or Bonus agility for 15 seconds after precision kills. Great scout right there. [=

I've always been a scout rifle guardian. I was using the Boolean until I got my Treads Upon Stars. That thing is my go to in the raid and in Crucible. I always used them in both Crota and VoG(though I used the Epilogue on oracles in the Atheon fight) so I've always been consistently good with them. Used to run Red Death in Crucible before TTK cause scouts felt pointless when hand canons had further range and accuracy and the scouts did less damage than a last word or Fatebringer. Now I feel like my beloved scout stands a chance.
