From a loot perspective there is really no point doing them unless you want to get a chance at an exotic drop. I'm not sure if 2.0 exotics are dropping in raids though. (Someone please let me know). I would still love to do them for fun once I'm caught up with the current content. However from a gear and loot perspective I am well aware that I am wasting my time.
