Ok, I think that it is pretty clear. They do want to know what we are thinking. They have Psych department, and what they read helps them make determinations by comparing them with the data from the game. They want people addicted and this forum helps. The other reason is that they have a Dev department, and they want people to give them ideas about what to add, or do with the game and what better way is there than asking those that are into the game. They give ideas, the devs can use those ideas and never have to pay royalties, or anything except a few dollars a year for the domain and website.

  • Probably closer to the truth than we would like to believe Steal the good ideas, ignore the negativity, do bare minimum to develop new dlc, monitor the cash-flow - rinse & repeat

  • And if that's the case, then what about the major issues? Seems like the Feedback only favors the positive but apparently ignores the negative. And you would think that should be wrong because of what we've seen in TTK, right? But then when you consider how many people were leaving the game, in that sense they only did certain things to bolster the new expansion sales. The general lack of communication from Bungie with regards to these matters doesn't help resolve these thoughts or concerns in the least, either.
