while i agree with you on most of your points executor, i do have my own input on the matter. some members of dead orbit do have more valid reasons to fear the darkness, a friend of mine was almost completly consumed by it, so she is rightfully scared of the darkness.

But the key word is "almost". She fought back and won. If we banded together and stood our ground, we could have a fighting chance. If you run away and take supplies that could be used to push back the Darkness, you break the defense. Leave us to fend for ourselves so you can cower in fear. That is the Darkness' greatest weapon. Fear. You are letting it take hold of you. If you run, it will hunt you down. If you push it back, you prove to it that you are a force to be reckoned with. A force that is not fearful, but to be feared.

very true, for her though... she cant even aproach places with taken presence, lest she actually gets consumed this time... the darkness left its mark on her, scarred forever in her void light
-
That is a sad tale, but if we do not stand and fight, more will become like her, and then nothing will stand between the City and the Darkness. Now is not the time to flee. Now is not the time to wait. Now is the time to fight! We must find our strength or face extinction.

i couldnt agree more sir. though our beliefs may differ, and our ideals may clash. i do think that victory can be achieved as long as there is unity between all gaurdians, regardless of which faction they choose to join
-
That is why we seek to find a single leader. To prevent internal conflict, focus our goals, and hold all Factions to the highest of standards. (Dead Orbit may have trouble with the last part.)
-
again, i agree. though we of the War Cult dont care much for how the people of the people of the city are ruled, we also wouldnt mind a singular leader, despite how most of the lower ranked soldiers act or say.
-
There is still a key difference though. You intend to take supplies and stockpile them for the "Final War," where you will fight. We plan to push back the Darkness before it becomes strong enough to cause your Final War. That, and if it does come, having technilogical wonders of a second Golden Age would help significantly.

i see... it seems with every simularity we have... more differences rise up to challange them. i will talk to my commander about this, get her opinion on the matter. maybe it is time we start pushing those changes she's been telling the higher ranks about into action... i again thank you for your time executor...

Thank you for asking of my opinion. This is what factions should be like more often.

Edited by Aldon saphir: 9/19/2015 7:45:54 AMyour welcome, commander lakshmi-2 has been trying to change how the other factions view us recently... our ideals wont change, but we are hoping a more positive view will garner a bit more respect that will bring a more unified city.

I look forward to hearing about these changes.
