  • No seriously, its almost perfect. Do you not understand how a licence works? And do you have any idea what you were told you would have acess to in the base game and each dlc? Continuation of end game content is not included.

  • Even if this is true, it should be advertised as subscription based

  • No, technically they did not invoke any part of their contract with you. Each game by itself does not ever mention end game activities. Only patrol, crucible, strikes, and raids. Nightfall, heroics, IB ect are never mentioned (what people are complaining about). They do say that end game content may be restricted if a player does not have the current expansion.

  • I'm not saying it's a legal problem, it's an ethics problem.

  • Yes I agree. Plus if a person buys the game say used, they will get a worse experience then others may have. IMO I have the new dlc but would still love to have a chance to go "back in time" to fight crotas blades or the fallen wolf events in patrol. But that game no longer exists because Bungie has decided on the game being persistent and make all public / social game areas to be the current in time. (Image a patrol option for vanilla, dlc 1 or dlc 2, or as the player progressed you would work through those older game options)

  • Please stop. You don't know how a license works and please don't google the base knowledge of how a license works because that will do absolutely nothing for you. Every game has a license print similar to or exactly like that of Destiny but that doesn't mean they pull the same tricks as Activision. It's there so they can't get sued if they do decide to pull a stunt like Activision did. Another thing. I was referring to his analogy (which I stated) and you go into questioning me on how a license works. You go off topic and say something somewhat relevant to sound like you know what you're talking about. Last, Destiny isn't a subscription . Netflix is a subscription. Destiny can be accessed without a subscription. Netflix can't. A DLC isn't a subscription because you have to pay for a DLC just once and you own it. A subscription on the other hand, you have to pay continuously to play it. So, this means the OP's analogy isn't good. That was all I was referring to...
