I equipped my last word but when I get kills with my fusion or anything else it doesn't give me any progress towards this bounty. Can I have some help please?

I've got up to a part where I need to complete the shield brothers strike on level 42 - recommended light 290. And defeat them with a shotgun

Each death takes away 1 percent, and from my understanding, it takes 2 kills to bring it up 1 percent. But I think kills with The Last Word increase it by 1 percent. It's a very difficult bounty

It seems that way but you just have to get a few kills in without dying, if you go on a kill streak you can finish it really quickly as your score multiplies. I believe same goes in reverse for a deathstreak.
