We got some of the worst Internet speeds as well at home iv got adsl2 and it's maxed put at 8mb/s on a good day my friend has maxed out cable and he gets 20mb/s You can get fiber but only in selected places like if you buy a 500k apartment in the middle of a major city or in some new housing estates but it costs an arm and a leg to get it
