Aren't some the strike playlists removed? Like I said, I have it so I'm not aware of all the changes for non-owners, but I thought a lot of playlists were missing. I get it if it is like before where if the new content comes up in rotation on the nightfall, dailies, etc, but to take away other options seems pretty shitty to me.

The additional playlists that were later added in as features before the level update are gone. However, you can still play every strike at its original level, or all of them at level 20.

I don't remember strike playlists getting added post launch. At launch you had lvl 18, 20, 22, and 24. With the ability to earn marks in those. Now those are gone (pretty much) leaving players who bought the game with less options to acquire marks then the game they originally bought. To me that is removing base content not removing added features.

Also keep in mind that the loot system has been reworked and those strikes still award gear. Also you don't need vendor gear anymore to hit level 32. Faction packages give legendary rewards more often, so you can still get the gear. And don't talk about the challenge those level 28 strikes offered! They were still a breeze. I can see why those people are upset, but also the only content they actually got locked out of in my opinions are the trials. Those are endgame, sure, but they were a huge advertised part of HoW. Or maybe bungie will take the dirty way: you can still enter, but you stand no chance. Who knows ..
