I think it has something to do with a large portion of the younger generation. They expect everything new and exciting to be just handed to them. It isn't fair if other people get it and I don't, they say. Even if they paid for it. And they don't have the money to do so because they don't want to work for it. It's pitiful. I guess it's because the law wouldn't allow their parents to beat them anymore. Worked on my generation.
