No DLC = No End Game Content, It's Simple

If you didn't buy the DLC you won't have access to end game content but you still have access to all of the vanilla content (story missions, strikes, crucible etx --------------------------------------------------- Reply by Nuked24 from another post:
Bungie reserves the right to remove/add online services as it sees fit.
You agreed to this before you even got past the title screen. Year one players remaining at year one have most of their content left- being able to pick individual levels and such is gone, but the activities themselves are not. Now... Do we all understand the difference, in this game, between content and endgame activities? Content would be a strike, story mission, etc. Year one players still have access to all of their content. Endgame activities would be things like the Nightfall, weekly, high-level strike lists and high level story modes. The problem here is that if a player didn't buy the Taken King expansion, they are locked out of endgame activities for that expansion. Bungie simply carbon-copied World of Warcraft for this. I think the main problem people have right now is that it came with a major restructuring of the entire game, and we all need to adapt to it.
