Well, considering it's the only class that call kill your abilities in mid-super, on demand, I can understand why you disagree about the Sunbreakers. But me, I don't have any of the new supers yet. I spent all my time yesterday doing the abandoned quests and crucible quests. So the only thing I got to truly experience yesterday was the unbalanced strength of the Sunbreakers, I was never big into using Hunters in PvP but considering those Hammers are the way that they are, I can't wait to take him in their once I get Nightstalker for myself.

Don't get me wrong, the nightstalker super sucks in PvP unless you work in a group as a team. If you go it alone make sure to get the quiver perk as it gets you 3 arrow shots instead of one. It also seems to take forever to charge compared to gunslinger so I use it as a last resort to take out a group or as a panic button to disorient someone and shut off their super I get most of my other kills from the 2 different kinds of grenades and tracking abilities I have and I speck my character so that those charge faster with high strength and discipline.

I feel like I should set mine up to become a Sunbreaker-killing machine. Specifically. Pull him out as a last resort against them. Like using Thorn on assholes who do NOTHING but use the Thorn. Shotguns on people who spam Felwinter's Lie and such. Y'know? lol

I've been doing the exact same thing if you can't beat their game adapt and better them at it. Although I've been using a sidearm as a secondary. Lately I've found it works better than shotguns, unless you are up in their face it kills them faster than a shotgun does although it doesn't have as much range as a fusion rifle it fires so much faster. I've gotten a lot of kills with the vestian dynasty.
