Hmmm thats strange.
There seems to be 3 modes in the crucible for those who don't have TTK.

Wouldn't let me play any of them, which was a bummer. My Collectors Edition JUST came in the mail today while my roommates have been playing since launch. I had to just play other games with headphones on to drown out their joy. -pbc

Then the fault lies with your connection etc etc The 3 playlists are specifically designed for use by non-TTK players. That is the whole reason they are there
