IS MARA SOV DEAD?!?
Im really upset now. In the cutscene it showed Oryx kind of using radioactive waves to destroy all the awoken AND the Queens ship.
Does that mean she is dead?
In the grimoire it is stated that her brother landed on Mars and the Queen is reported as "missing".. Thoughts anyone?

1 ReplyIn a game that includes a race of Robot guys that have the ability to travel through time and essentially bend time and space to their will, I refuse to take the death of any character seriously. Even if she is dead for now, they can pretty much make her not dead anymore at any given moment.

I reckon she's just missing. Grimorie talks about her being presumed dead, but I reckon she'll be back. Eris talks to her after you give Oryx the smack down in missions.

So them stating that the queen is dead is not fact. 2.She seems too smart to just run in and die. 3.No body no proof. Her and her brother are still alive. Edit: also I'm not omniscient, so I may not be stating fact either.

No body, no death. In halo, everybody knew that the didact wasnt dead. He came back and fought the chief and blue team until they "contained" him inside the composer. So i believe shes still alive. Plus i found her really hot and sexy so another reason to bank that shes alive. Her confidence is just so toxic i love it lol

3 RepliesYet again: how could Mara Sov relay the message to us in the cutscene saying "It is all up to you now" in just 3 seconds? Also: I'm pretty sure Petra would say something about her. Is she dead? No. She is the queen.

I feel like Mara met the Stranger on Mars and somehow sent her back in time to recruit the guardians and lead them to the Vex, which in turn led them to assist the queen. Interesting theory but it's hard to picture how she met the stranger.
