IS MARA SOV DEAD?!?
Im really upset now. In the cutscene it showed Oryx kind of using radioactive waves to destroy all the awoken AND the Queens ship.
Does that mean she is dead?
In the grimoire it is stated that her brother landed on Mars and the Queen is reported as "missing".. Thoughts anyone?

It turns out she was saved with the Coven and tried to contact her brother (which is the lights the brother tries to home in on before his ship distracts him) as far as I'm aware she is alive just in an undisclosed location.

Yes. If you listen to today's daily quest (the wolves one), Petra is depressed about it.

3 RepliesMy rule for deciding if any character in any story is dead is simple. Did you SEE them die? No, we did not see Mara Sov die. Sure here ship was destroyed which implies it but we didn't SEE her die. She could still be alive.

In the daily mission Petra says something like "Thanks guardian for making me think of something else...the Queen really respected you."

Not sure but on mission you do for the awoken suggests there is an awoken signal on the dreadnought.

Well you see little johnny if you look at the new raid weapons the seem to be made of chitin which is what the darkblade uses to make ships so why not guns and what is chitin made of; flesh and bone, where did he get it, the remains of the queen and her followers. Want proof? Look at the gun descriptions.

One of the Frames in the Reef list off broken coordinates from a transmission with the Queen's signal. Petra mentions this at some point saying she thinks the Frame is broken. Uldren crashed on Mars, but not in Meridian Bay. The Queen isn't dead. She escaped.

12 RepliesMars Sov is [i]extremely[/i] clever and strong willed. I expect her to be one of two things; -Alive and well, after leaving her ship in the moments before its destruction. -Taken by Oryx. If she has been Taken, I imagine she'd be the kind of Taken that would keep her memory and sense of self. Wouldn't be surprised to see her rise to Oryx's Throne after his death.
