Don't start this already...please don't. Play the Stormcaller first before making that assumption. As far as this is too op, your statement is one of the very reasons we had the 2.0 update.

  • Explain this to me then.. "your statement is one of the very reasons we had the 2.0 update." I fail to see your logic OR relevance with that comment in regards to what I said.. Let me put it this way. I can at least escape from a Stormcaller with enough distance whereas I've been "sniped" with those exploding hammers from fairly long ranges and only narrowly escaped a single hammer in about 5 hours of playing Crucible today and had at least a few hundred thrown at me in that time.. And that one hammer I escaped? Didn't matter because I only escaped it with a vertical jump, then I got hammered again on my descent and died anyway. I don't care about the strength of it. I don't care about the speed of it. But the Super has both of those things going for it, and it's too much. The only super-activated guardians I can't kill. Everyone else dies just fine, super or not.

It hasn't been a day barely, and people are calling for nerfs already. You got missed by the Stormcaller due to inaccuracy from the other player. The Stormcaller has just as powerful as a super. The 2.0 update comment I made is very relevant. It missed more than it hit amongst the majority when it came to weapon balancing or rebalancing. Supers were changed...orb numbers were limited, yet it was increased for the hack and slash blade dancer. Why? Because people started talking about how underpowered or overpowered things were. Every time they nerf something, more items get nerfed right along with it. You suggested a small nerf to damage. What if they also slow the rate in which your super recharges? Or better yet, decrease the diameter/radius... I wasn't attempting to be rude in my comment towards. It's just that Bungie never fixes or nerfs just one thing. But it is like Thor's Hammer except it's fire.

  • alright..so a striker that comes flying towards you at mach 15000 with unstoppable on you can kill? But you can't seem to find a way to kill something that actually moves waaay slower when his super is activated? it took me just one lousy sniper bullet to kill that hammer wielding flame tornado. And i have been killed plenty while my sunbreaker super was activated. And if they are nerfing it, they should also nerf the accuracy of the gunslinger super, the radius of the nova bomb...and certainly the gawd damned range on that freaking hunter bow, which btw deactivates your super and it can blind you...oh, yeah..it also slows you like crazy... And for christ sake don't get me started on the stormcaller.. I call for no nerf at all! I think the new classes play very well against eachother. There is always a way to kill someone in crucible. On a side note: Supers are not really meant to be dodged...they are called supers for a reason you know ;)

  • That bow sucks dick. I don't want to blind someone when I can kill em instead, and it has travel time. It is fun as hell in pve though. Also, their smoke melee is sweet.
