Omg. They changed THEIR GAME! They started over for the most part. Year 1 had it flaws and they want to put it behind them. Who cares! Get a job and you can afford 40 in a week or two.

While this concept does apply, they may in fact be trying to improve the game, the way they did things is based around greed. That may be fine to some, but you should appreciate that others find this fundamentally wrong. They could have added to the game without devaluing all the time put in during year 1. Gear: Could have easily created a system to improve gear that had already been attained rather than requiring gathering new gear. -No new items, just a system that requires existing items to advance current gear. Maybe a new vendor that has "old knowledge" -Have a new area that "tests your worthiness". You have to beat the area's challenge with the weapon you want to upgrade equipped. Once the challenge begins you're locked off from all other weapons until you leave the area. Content: Could have created a new section for TTK players only that has higher level daily/weekly/nightfall. This was just from about 2 minutes of thinking. Point being, a company like Bungie(at least the old Bungie) could have come up with a way to add content without devaluing everything year 1. They chose to grab at money and give the middle finger to anyone on the fence about buying TTK. People have every right to be p*ssed about the decisions that were made.

The problem is that year 1 had alot of flaws. So instead of trying to build on year 1 they restarted for year 2. To me 40 bucks seems fair for what I got. Its just my opinion.
-
The money isn't the problem.
-
Well its not TTK. Its worth it. My opinion.

1. Talk like a person, this is where people speak. 2. What if you have a job? What if you have bills? Insurance, for a car perhaps? Student debt? Why are you defending a company that sees you only as an ATM?
-
1. You are crying and its frustrating. 2. I have all the above. Plus a kid. 3. This may be a shock to you: I enjoy playing the game and can see their progress. 4. If you hate the game or company than move on.
-
Okay, first, I'm glad you have a kid, Kudos. Now, I still play this game with friends, it's not like shoving your hand in a pit of needles sure, it's not the worst thing since Adolf hitler. I'm just saying that bungie should've given us some advanced notice that they were changing their game (which we basically fund, may I add) that way, those who didn't like the changes, could've jumped ship. Don't immediately assume someone is a suck-ass because they don't like this game, but become vocal about it, because if it wasn't for those same -blam!-ing people, you'd be eating torn apart by Pre-Nerd Mytho. Remember that nightmare? Want to know what solved it? Complaints, complaints and feedback. Just like how people botching about the price should potentially sway bungie's way of thinking. If you, a man, with a child and student debt, and well as bills, would prefer to waste their money on content that won't last them more than 2 months? That's okay, no judgement, you're bad with money, and that's A-okay. But don't undermine others for not wasting theirs. Muted.

Wow. I paid 40 dollars for entertainment. Either way im going to play. Have a good day.
-
They change the game from shit to eh "ok", but in order to have the eh "ok" game year one player who probably already payed 100 plus dollars on the game (if they bought both dlc's) have to now pay another $40 to unlock content they already bought and are receiving another rip off deal. He already stated in the article that people reached lvl 40 within an hour... That seems like more bullshit content with no value if you ask me. Bungie -blam!-ed up their game and making us pay $40 for their "new and improved" version isn't an apology. It's a clear view into what they really want. And if you're really that stupid I'm talking about money. That's all they care about, so pack your bags fanboys bungie isn't the same. Suck it up. Don't buy TTK.
-
Experience lvl dosent matter that much and its a great dlc. My opinion.
-
My point is that bungie changes up the whole game and only lets their first year beta testers have three things to do. Plus some people don't have $40 to drop on a game
-
I ubderstand the frustration. At the same time this gam3 is progressing and year 1 had alot of flaws so they moved on from it. Not buying the DLC I dont understand why you would want to still play it. If its for crucible then you can still do it. My point is that its not that big of a deal. If you cant afford just save and get it.
-
Your still not getting my point fully (I'm not arguing btw) I am playing the game for Pvp because I enjoy it, but now with the new dlc I am only limited to three mixed game types which is unfair to some one such as myself who has already dropped $100 on the game and is now having all $100 of it to have gone towards nothing
-
I do understand. It would seem it would be alot better if they did like COD (ewh) and have a playlist for only the DLC and just have regular crucible and if a map comes up you dont have you cant play it.
