People arent only angry at the price its the ****** part where they steal content that you already had its one thing to add new content on with a new level cap its another to steal it away and its you basically payed for 2 new dlcs 40$ for a total of some shitty story quests 2 new now irrelevant raids some shaders and gear that is now worse then what you can buy in the vendors now WOW may have many expansions and a subscription but the content they release far outshines any dlc destiny has released AND THEY DONT ************ STEAL CONTENT YOU ALREADY PAYED FOR!

  • But they aren't stealing content, you can enjoy every part of the game with exception of all the upgraded content, if don't upgrade you get stuck in the vanilla game model. Wow was the same way, if you didn't upgrade you got nothing but stuck at the old cap with nothing to do.

  • The weeklies and dailies aren't content. They are events. Regularly scheduled, but still events. The actual missions and strikes are all still there.

  • They are, however, core parts of the game. Core parts that could still be done (excluding NF or Weekly/Daily that was a DLC mission/strike), even if you owned only Vanilla Destiny. This is no longer true, which in my opinion is rather ludicrous.

  • And you're welcome to that opinion. No condescension intended. In my opinion, it's not bad business though. Just a type of game development that the audience of Destiny is largely unfamiliar with. Such core parts of games like scheduled events have been evolving in other games with similarly styled worlds for over a decade. Longer in some cases. But those were MMOs, or MUDs before them. I feel bad that you feel cheated, and it sucks that Bungie failed to prepare its audience for what was going to happen. But I don't think it's as indicative of bad business as people suggest. Just different business. And I don't say all this in an attempt to convince you. If you're not on board with Destiny, or with Bungie, that's all fine. I just want to provide my perspective, in the hope that it brings you some measure of peace on the issue.
