[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b] [u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u] • Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps: - From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application - Press the Menu button on your controller - Select "Manage Game" - Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side) • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition. • Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating [u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u] • If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url] • We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear. • We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b] •We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items. • We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u] • All available information on Armsday can be found with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13613]this FAQ[/url]. • Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. [u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u] • There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.   • I preordered TTK Digital Online Edition on Aug 31st that was suppose to come with the Suros Weapons pack but when the TTK was up & running this am I did not get my Weapons pack. Looked all over the tower & talk to everyone and even checked the weapon blueprint place but the weapons are nowhere to be found. What gives?

  • There's not 40$ edition here, you must be kidding. Only a redeem a code option (SOOOO USEFUL THANK YOU BUNGIE I'M SURE IT WILL BE SO USED), Legendary edition code and a collector's edition code

    • I completed my triumphs but didn't get an emblem then looked at my triumphs and at ttk launch it reset my golden chests so no emblem. Pleeaaase help!!!! I was only going to rock that emblem all year :(. PS4 PSN: Skimpy_sputters

      Come the fuçk on bungie quit the Bullshit and get to the point I purchased the Digital CE on Microsoft store I downloaded it and it says an error 80070057 you guys made the shit fix it we ain't gonna shit out another 80$ just to repurchase the DLC in the game which clearly is the problem

    • Apparently you are leaving out some vital information. Alot of us that got the email with the suroa emblem and shader a few days early didnt get our guns today . My understanding is that some of us get suros pack and vanguard pack (weapons and all). Also The Veteran quest. Can we only do it on one character or can we do it on all 3. Because it only allowed me to do it one one toon and it didnt even offer the quest to y other 2 toon. Can we please get and answer. I am reading back to back post on these subject but i am seeing no answers.

        I am on Xbox one, got online at 3:30 A.M eastern time,and right now at 6:30 I be been sitting here installing destiny. It's at 28% in 3 freaking hours and everyone is telling me it is pose to be a 10 second download. Please help me with this Edit: at 58 percent and been doing this for 5 hours

        • I already paid my 80$ for the dlc, thank you. I want to be able to play it now. Even if it's Microsoft's fault, YOU guys are the ones who need to fix it. I'm not paying another 60 for less content. I've already refreshed my licenses several times.

                  • So at 6:05 Eastern I bought the legend edition. Due to no information about the Taken King standalone. I then open up destiny and click on the Taken King icon and find out that's where you buy the standalone. I honestly don't know why ithey was so hard to do this since the last 2 dlcs were very easy to by just the dlc. Now I'm just sitting here seething about how I just bought $60 worth of stuff that I have already spent $100 for.
