This morning, some information about a SUROS Arsenal Pack made a surprise appearance on the Internet! The rumor is true, but we'd like to clarify a few details. You gotta read the fine print: Early access to Suros Arsenal Pack is available starting 09.15.15. Suros Arsenal Pack can be attained by pre-order of digital and physical editions of Destiny: The Taken King or by the purchase of the digital or physical Collector’s Edition. Suros Arsenal Pack can also be attained through gameplay starting on 01.01.16. The SUROS Arsenal Pack is available on pre-order from select retailers depending on your country. It is also available in the Collector¹s Edition and if you pre-order Destiny: The Taken King digitally. Destiny's Suros Arsenal Pack is a group of five items from Suros, one of the weapon foundries being introduced in The Taken King. The bundle includes three weapons — the WSC-17 scout rifle, which you can see in the screenshot above, plus the PRR-11 auto rifle and BNS-13 pulse rifle — as well as a Suros-themed emblem and shader. Pre-orders of The Taken King will also receive the Vanguard Weapons Pack, which includes a Vanguard-themed auto rifle, pulse rifle and sidearm. Both the Suros Arsenal Pack and Vanguard Arsenal Pack will be exclusive to The Taken King pre-order customers for three and a half months. Everybody will be able to earn them through gameplay starting Jan. 1, 2016

I just bought the collector's edition upgrade for the taken king thinking I was getting some Suros weapons, shaders, and emblem. Well didn't receive any of it. Really destiny!?!?

For a preorder incentive, Bungie gave us the right to buy with glimmer green weapons that are worst than green drops when you patrol. There is no response from Bungie regarding how misleading their promotion was. As they say, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. NEVER EVER preorder from Bungie again. Yes, if you read carefully you may legally justify what they did. But it makes people feel bad and in reality, green weapons and legendaries don't cost Bungie any different. They are virtual. So making people feel screwed doesn't make any sense. But then again, hasn't that been what people have been saying the past year? Any comments Bungie? [spoiler]crickets[/spoiler]

This is what it states: Guardians will receive a Vanguard themed Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle, and Side arm. Does not say access....says Guardians will receive....then it states it again for Suros: The SUROS Arsenal Pack includes a SUROS Foundry themed Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle, and Scout Rifle to bolster your combat capabilities, as well as a SUROS Foundry themed Emblem and Armor Shader that you can use to customize your Guardian and show off in Destiny’s Social Spaces. Based on that sentence why did we receive the shader and emblem free but not the weapons?!? Someone from Bungie needs to address this.

Hi all, I have been a destiny fan from day 1 with 2,700 hrs played and feel a little cheated with the taken king ,(thank you bungie for the free lvl 170 damage hawkemoon ? (Why not 280 ? ) bungie should let us have the option to keep our hard earned equipment to take into year 2 as I have now to delete most things .how come players had full armor upgrades on day 2 ie head gear , gauntlets etc ? Have I missed out on something ?When you needed a lot of vanguard marks to purchace them? I now have all my 3 guardians at lvl 40 and saved enough marks to get the exotic suros auto rifle with 280 damage before getting any legendary armor the best decision I have made yet as now I can switch the weapon to my other guardians to help me get marks easier from quests .now all I have to do is save up the marks I get to focus now on guardian armour which shouldn't take to long with having this weapon at my side .Just to note the suros exotic is fantastic ,save your marks and purchase before you get any new legendary armour it's working for me

Worst game ever. Only took 5 hours to get to lvl 40.. Could you have been anymore ridiculous in your claims this will be so much better than year 1? This was a $20 dlc, AT BEST!!!!!

******UPDATE******* Got some shitty news fellow guardians....as morry14 stated below indeed the so called suros/van weapon packs are in fact green uncommon guns with an attack value of 160 and cant be upgraded as there are no nodes to bolster that 160. So sorry to say as I feel it to that all my year 1 purples are equally effective as these 6 guns are....at a cost of 1500 glimmer each.. I cross referenced these guns as per the pre order advertisement and sure shit they match............ya fooled me bungie thinking I was going to receive a quality weapon pack for my preorder but as the saying goes nothing gained is nothing lost..................except my pre order days are done with bungie

I got my shader and emblem from the Postmaster fine, but...I have to pay for the SUROS weapons? And they're at a lower level than my Year 1 weapons? For real?

Yeah, this was disappointing. They should give you a copy of each weapon at the postmaster and they should probably be blue. I like that they don't want to give too much of an advantage over other players, but this was a little too conservative. Not having them in inventory felt like a ripoff. Edit: From the fine print: "Suros Arsenal Pack can be attained..." not obtained, even though that's how we all read it apparently. Groan.

I don't really mind it because I preordered the DLC with the intent to get the DLC but honestly for the people who preordered to get the SUROS pack and being handed green weapons that are worse than the test weapons from the gun smith, what the hell Bungie.
