Ok, so we live in a cause and effect universe right? So if we keep going farther and farther back in time to see what cause caused an effect which caused another effect and so on and so forth. So I ask you, what was the original cause or causer?

Yeah but how do you know it was God? Were you there? I know you have had that said to you but actually it's quite a fair question. See for one there is to much corruption in the universe for me to believe that the bible made it all this way through history unchanged. I actually believe that the bible was written by the Romans to control the masses of people because religion seems to give people a common goal. The simple fact is that we will never know the answer. We weren't there and we can't travel through time. It was to long ago to accurately record historical evidence. That is original of course. Meaning untampered and nobody on earth that ever lived messed with it at all. Simply not possible

Ok nobody was there for the creation of the universe.the only way we know about it is throw writings. One of them being the bible. Many historical texts have made it this far. Saying the Romans wrote the Bible is crazy. Nowhere are we every given any evidence either in Jewish history or Roman history about the Roman writing the Bible.
