To the idiots who say grimoire is only ghosts...
Let me clear up the grimoire=dead ghosts claim.
Ghost account for about 5 grimoire each. Some Ghosts count for 10 or 15 though.
There are 77 dead ghosts.
77x5=385. Let's just round that up to approximately 550. Fair enough?
Only 550 score out of a possible 3620 (xb) or 3665 (ps) can be given to you by finding dead ghosts. While that is a substantial gain, it is not the key factor for a high grimoire.
You say Grimoire doesn't show skill? Let me brake it down.
Where did the other 3,000 points come from? It shows you have played a variety of PvE and PvP content, and that you have done them [u]multiple[/u] times. It shows commitment to the game. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up for debate.
Now, grimoire means, for the most part, [u]experience[/u]. You do not need a high grimoire score to be good. You can have a natural talent at the game.
But:
talent+experience=skill
When talent is refined with experience, that makes a player skilled.

That is why grimoire, to me, means skill.

Seeing a lot of people down below saying when they came against bad grimoire players in trials it was an easy win. My team had around 3000 before trials, all day one, never bothered with the ghosts. We smashed teams with high grimoire. Just saying...

5 RepliesIs my grimoire considered high? What I have was obtained through trying new things after deleting characters multiple times (which is why you'll see a low amount of kills/games that shouldn't make my score possible).

At the time of trails and iron banner I had 2800 grim and I've beat teams that had maxed grim or over 3000 so I say it's bs cause just bc u got low grim doesn't mean you suck or you don't know the game it means sometimes you have a job or family and can't spend hours and hours on in to look on YouTube to find all ghost so I say if your good at game I can tell by the way u play regardless If ur maxed or not I've seen crappie players that are maxed and I've seen good so that's what I think

I've been playing the game since beta and only have 2985 grimoire score. I have only picked up a few dead ghosts but have most of the playing achievements.

say you have a 3k grimoire, and haven't hunted ghosts, you could probably gain around 300-400 grimoire depending on how many you just stumbled across, i know i gained 100 grimoire by hunting 3/4 of earths ghosts

3 RepliesSame. But I have screenshots of 34 players with flawless on all three, who are pretty damn good at PvP, can't fault them there, who have a score of under 2000. One time, they even had under 1000. The shame of that day has left a black mark on my brain.

3 RepliesYou need to be a good player to get rumble skirmish and trials grimoire that's a fact , rumble and skirmish is gonna be my stumbling block , just don't have the time nowadays not with the newer game modes out now

1 ReplyTo me it means time commitment. Given enough time, players can get all the grimoire cards except cards like rumble wins and those can still be boosted.

True but I don't think the guys who ghost hunt and grind for grimore are no better than someone who has a score of 2800 or more. Any less than that they will probaley have less exp. But still may be very skilled. But also I have run into many players who have near maxed grimore and are complete shit so I don't really depend on score to judge someone. Sometimes though if I'm running with a random and see they suck I'll look at their score and laugh at the lvl 34 with a 1700 score
