Eric simply stares at the holographic display of Him, with no emotion on his face; after all that had happened to them, how could he have discernible emotion? This was the man, no, being, who had saved him from certain death. He was the being who took off his arm, and then fought alongside Eric to save his friends, and then left him for dead after a fight. Ginger was the most complicated, and perhaps the most dangerous person that he'd ever met, and even after all Ginger had done to him, for him, he didn't know what to call him.
[Artemis]: The two of you are galaxies away, there's no reason to fear him. I doubt that even ATLAS would like to be involved in Sol Alliance conquests, so he wouldn't come here even if he could.
[Eric]: You're right, of course. I... I just can't forgive him, but I can't thank him enough. He showed me who I am, and then almost killed me. Why would he leave me behind? Why didn't I kill him when I had the chance?
[Artemis]: I'm in your head, that doesn't mean that I can decipher your unconscious thoughts. Perhaps he is just as confused as you are...
She pauses, knowing what he wanted to see next.
[Artemis]: Ugh... Playing recording
Footage plays, stolen from the Axion Cruiser. 13 years ago, the original Ginger had gone rogue, insane perhaps. He had turned on his team, the best friends that he ever had, and nearly killed them all. One being, against the greatest soldiers in the galaxy, and yet they were almost powerless to stop him. So how was it that he, an un-augmented human, could beat him when the Genesis failed?
He realizes that someone is behind him, and quickly turns off the footage
