I don't understand why people think they should get an emblem?
The rewards for completing are XP, Vanguard Rep and Legendary class item.
Nowhere does it say you should get an emblem.

yes it does. Go to the emblem kiosk amd you'll find an emblem for each subclass and it say they are obtained from completing the quest that goes along with the subclass

The PvP subclass quest, not PvE. Its all ready been confirmed on Twitter. When you finish the quest it says what rewards you will get. It doesn't state you will get an emblem.
