So pretty, much destiny is about to die, there will be those few people who buy ttk. Mostly new players because of the collectors edition. But all the veterans, are about to leave. Whatever mcc has been awesome the last 3 weeks and I can't wait for halo 5! If Bungie really wanted they're veterans to stay, all they would have to do is increase the level cap for everybody to 40.

  • Not true. The number of vets copping ttk is unfathomable (at least for me and apparently for you). I'm pretty sure most people who enjoy the game that don't frequent these types of forums don't take it serious enough to really concern themselves with the politics behind the marketing antics enough to be enraged. Realize that the people who visit the feedback forum are by large going to be displeased in some way or other, and we have each other to inform each other of any new bs and arouse each other's anger. Most other people, I presume, just look at the price tag and weigh it against their personal enjoyability and its projected longevity. They've likely preordered if the game is a priority to them over most other games, and if they haven't, the realization upon release of ttk that their continued enjoyment of the game is suddenly limited unless they buy it will give them further incentive.

  • Sad but true. Sales 'encouragement' via negative reinforcement.

  • Yup. And not to mention the number of other general human factors Bungie has on its side. Aside from the fact that not everyone who plays is a hc gamer knowledgable about the shadiness, likely to be concerned with the shadiness if they were to be told about it, or experienced enough with gaming enough to know that these antics are shady in this industry if informed about them objectively, the game is rated t for the purpose of appealing to a younger, easily manipulated crowd who just wanna do repetitive shit with likewise friends and casual friendly so that people will not object too much because they have more important things going on in their lives (not to be a conspiracy theorist). Also, people just get different shit out of a gaming. We can't realistically expect this shit to be a concern to the majority of people.
