Deleted three times then started new Hunter and no drop after story mission. Wtf

I did it again today watched the whole stupid cutscene and it didn't drop

If you go to the tower, head to the vanguards table, to the far right you'll see a screen where you can access abandoned quest. Complete them and you'll get the legendary version

You may have to try again on a character that hasn't completed all the story missions. I recently did to get mine again as well.
