it is, it means before anyone else. Take An English class before you compare and acronym and word.

English class? By your admittance it is a acronym not a word. Therefore why would be taught in English class. There was was time in the U.S a term "ebonics" was thrown around but guess what? It wasn't accepted. So you may want to ask yourself who is the ignorant one?
