Frankly, I don't see how any change in voice makes a difference. The lines he was supposed to say came from Bungie writers, and there in lies true problem. Many of them made ZERO sense in any context.

As far as I know the script isn't being rewritten, just rerecorded, and North does sound like a squeakier version of the Dinklebot anyway. Would just be a nice nod to a guy that got a lot of shit for something he hadn't really done before :) Dinklage is a great actor, Game of Thrones is evidence of that, just be nice to remember he was part of Destiny's beginnings.

They are changing the lines with the new ghosts from start of story to the end. Plus ghosts do more now read out things and have abilities
