Bump for truth

Yep. Another post about the #bumpfortruth issue. What did you think was going to happen Bungie? Did you think no one would notice? Because whoever made that call just brought a whole lot of attention on that hashtag. It's possible that many people here had no idea what #bumpfortruth was all about. Now without a doubt, they will. #bumpfortruth was a hashtag that could be added to your post for the purposes of adding it to other like minded posts that people wanted Bungie to read and acknowledge. You could simply do a bumpfortruth search and bam!, there you go. But someone decided they didn't like #bumpfortruth and killed it. This isn't about moving topics from one forum to another. This is about censorship. Pure and simple. There's no getting around it. Tell us Bungie. Why did you censor #bumpfortruth? What was it about that hashtag that got you so fired up that you angrily removed it for all time? Whose panties got bunched up? And why would you make the fool mistake of taking one of the single most popular, user created hashtags, and censoring it? Answers are what we need!

 • Maybe the hashtag was "censored" because people where abusing the power.... Think about it. You start a fire... its a nice fire. Oh, but here comes another, and you JUST have to share it. Well they like the nice fire, and they too start to share it. But there friends are not as nice as they are, and they abuse it. They burn things... all the things. Till nothing is left. Sure, idk even anything about this tag, but it sounds to me like SOMEONE got a tad in-over-there-head... don't ya think? Next time you create a new hashtag, try to use it in a more creative way than just as an excuse to help find "your causes" better. . ((PS: never liked hashtags anyway, ya? they truly are so pointless...)) .

 • The majority of posts with that tag were immature, and they had so much toxic in it. Posts with that tag got reported and thats why they removed it.

 • Bump. While I'm glad to see Cozmo responded, I have no faith in Bungie. I believe this was an active decision to censor the community.

 •
It's possible that many people here had no idea what #bumpfortruth was all about. Now without a doubt, they will.
Ha, don't make me laugh. Anyone who spent more than a day on the feedback forums quickly realized that the posts that kept cluttering up the forums were mostly the same ones from the same people using the same damn tag, 9 times out of ten keeping actual constructive feedback from getting any sort of real attention while peddling the same old ideas under thinly veiled hate and vitriol. Next to no one didn't know about the tag
