lol good on you for giving it a go! I started playing PS1 as a form of therapy to get my hand eye co-ordination back. Then moved onto PS2. I mostly played driving, sports and fighting games as I didn't have the dexterity to manage FPS at that time. It wasn't until my nephew got an Xbox 360 that I attempted to use the Xbox style controller. It immediately felt more comfortable for me due to the stick layout. The way I play now is the exact way I played my first game with my nephew, it just felt "right". I wouldn't say I ever felt like giving up. Sure I have my down days but I'm ridiculously stubborn as my wife will attest! Seeing me in the street, its obvious I have a disability. So, my goal online was to "blend in" and make my play such that no one could possibly know or believe it if I told them ;)

I was a professional musician for over a decade and I've always been super passionate about gaming so I've often thought about how my biggest fear would be losing even one hand. I've often thought if I lost a hand is be like "ah well, I guess I'll get super into movies now." I love how you said that you feel like you blend in whilst playing a game. That's such a great thought and a testament to the power of games as an interactive medium. As I said before I wouldn't believe for a second I was watching one handed gameplay and if you were on my fireteam I wouldn't believe for a second you were playing one handed, so you've absolutely nailed that aspect. Congrats and thanks for sharing all of this with the community. I've had a blast sharing this video with my friends. Edit: there's also a guy with no arms that plays DOTA or LOL with a gameplay designed for his feet.
