At first I was pissed as well but seriously you need to move on. If Fatebringer was the best hand cannon forever it would be boring, just accept the change like most other people are doing.

Move on from what. You and everyone else paid for the stuff we got. Not just that.. But investing hundreds of hours being able to obtain them. If this is your perspective you must not give a shît about your money, or who you gave it to.

No one is talking about Fatebringer being the best or even WANTING it to be "the best." Its the matter of pushing the point that your time and effort has been utterly disrespected and cast to the wayside for no other reason than sheer laziness on the part of the developer. Would it not be better, instead of grinding to get a "new version" of the EXACT SAME GUN, to just simply keep and ascend the Fatebringer while creating new weapons that have attributes or perks that we DON'T already see or have? This is more than just the Fatebringer we're talking about. Look at the gravity of the situation. ALL Year 1 is being more or less invalidated. Will you still feel that way once year 3 comes and the 1,000+ or whatever hours you've spent in Year 2 end up being tossed the same way? Its a mentality that needs to NOT be encouraged and we have to stop it sooner rather than later.

If Bungie would do more interesting new weapons and perks, people would stop using Fatebringer.. and nobody would cry for it getting left behind. Better gamedesign could help so much.
