Just give points for picking it up, and the more teammates it drops for the more points everybody gets.

  • That's simple sure, but doesn't really promote better team play does it? in fact, that isn't much different than it is currently,.except players could actually get rewarded more than they do currently for playing selfishly. If you get points for picking it up how is that different from getting point for picking it up and killing players with it in terms of team support? Well, I guess the team get more point s when any player does, but that's already the case. The hope behind my proposal is that players might play in a more team oriented way while serving their apparent selfish motivations. How do you see your proposal as supporting better team play than the current system or the one I've proposed?

  • I'm saying that it should be changed so that the more teammates in proximity to the ammo the more points each player gets added to their score.

OH, well that is MUCH different than how I read it. I apologize for my confusion, it's been a long day and my mind isn't working at peak efficiency ATM. That is simple, and where my thoughts started to be honest. I just wasn't sure it would be enough to foster the amount of change I would like to see. Also, I thought that a player that stood there for longer without pulling deserved more of a reward than on that might just enter the area at the last moment. Those two things where the principle drivers for my slightly more complicated suggestion. I still think my suggestion is good. If either one of our ideas were implemented I consider an improvement over the current situation. Edit: wanted to add that your solution would still appear to be a "yes" in response to the poll, correct? Or is a "There's a better solution, see my reply below.."?
