You will get double tapped by Thorn or Last Word before you can get four headshots with MIDA. That is if you're in a one-on-one with someone who has good aim. That's why you need to play to the weapon's advantages to do well. This is why I love MIDA to death. You can't simply rely on the time-to-kill to win your battles. You need to move faster, aim quicker, catch them off guard or take advantage of a flank. MIDA is literally built to outplay people. Everything about it is so quick. It aims in an instant, reloads before you can say "next target" and with quickdraw, readies before you can say "he's one hit!" The speed boost is what really makes it shine though. Combined with my Titan skating, I can outrun literally anyone. If you get in a 1v1 situation and DPS is failing you, boost to the nearest cover, find an exit, and "reset the engagement", otherwise known as booking it. Back off until you have some good cover and regen. If they're chasing you, lead them to a choke point, find a good angle and hardscope that doorway with LDR. They'll never see it coming. The perfect toolset to completely outplay a charging shotgunner.
