A huge Vex colossus that we have to climb and destroy piece by piece until we reach its head. Another could be a Hive God that can warp reality splitting up the fire team between dimensions. Instead of the fire team reuniting to damage the boss like in Atheon we would remain separated switching damage phases between the two teams according to the bosses attacks/warp phases.
