Nope. I remember when France, Spain and the Netherlands kicked the asses of the troops we had in America at the time. I remember the colonists being so desperate they needed other European countries to pull them out of the shit before they had their arses handed to them. I also remember them turning up late to 2 wars that other countries had been fighting in for many years thinking that entitles them to worldwide glory when the truth is, the only people that give the slightest shit about either of those is Americans and Americans alone.

Actually they supplied. The colonist won the war. And if America hadn't intervened, especially in WW2, Britain was going to fall. Russia would have still won the European front.

Nope, they did the fighting. The colonists were well and truly screwed. Without European help you would still be flying British colours and spelling your words correctly. Yes, you intervened. Late, twice. We were in the shit but it doesn't matter, it was a long time ago. America are still the only ones dwelling on the past when the rest of the world stopped giving a shit many moons ago. The part of history they seem to forget is, without Britain, there would be no America. The past is the past, nothing anyone can do about it but Americans dwell on it like it means something now. The worst part is, they seem to think the rest of the world dwells on it too. Hate to bring it up but it's relevant, 9/11. It was 14 years ago, most of the world moved on months after it happened yet it's still brought up like every person in every country still cares. To put it another way, my kids weren't born when it happened, they don't know about it. They may hear about it but it will have zero impact on their lives, it was just something that happened before they were born.

Slavery was not the cause of the civil war. The Civil War was started because the north and south had different political views, and mainly because Lincoln wanted to preserve the union. Tons of people in the north owned slaves. The northern soldiers did not fight to end slavery. Although Lincoln did want to end slavery , it was at a later time. He said himself that,[quote]"I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so."[/quote] This is from his first inaugural address, so prove to me that the civil war was started because of slavery, and the soldiers were fighting to end slavery.

Actually slaves were valuable property and they weren't killed unless they couldn't work. When there were dangerous jobs the plantation owners usually hired the southern white trash to do the dangerous jobs that could get them killed
