Very good write-up about your group. Sorry to see that it is full. I am a 50+ player and have never had luck with any of the LFG sites. Looking to join a group of mature players that don't mind helping someone out in the game. Would love to try some of the end game content. Haven't got a chance to try any raids, PoE runs or ToO stuff. I will keep a lookout for any future chances. Good Hunting in TTK!

Doogg 007, Heck, I'm 52 and been enjoying Destiny since it's start. So, you're not the only older guy here! :) Anyhow, I was recently on Ps3, just moved over to XboxOne, so I'm restarting with a Titan at 23. Seems you're on PS4, however, If you could share my GamerTag with anyone you might know, I'd appreciate it. I've mostly done solo, would like to hook up with others for a lot of the end game stuff, as well. G'luck Ol' guy! :) Ron

Ron, Glad to know that I am not the only 'old' gamer out their!! I am on a XB1, so I would enjoy linking up next week sometime. I have been on the game since Dec and never found anyone to do any of the end game stuff. I will look you up next week when I am back. Thanks for the note Keith

Keith, Thanks for the reply. Yeah, other than my body not bein' what it used to be (I know you understand that!), I'm still young at heart. You and I surely didn't have this great technology growin' up, but I'm enjoyin' the heck out of it. And, I'll admit, sometimes the thought crosses my mind that I'm an older guy in a young person's game. LOL. Although my reflexes probably aren't what they used to be, I'll give those young folks a run for their money! LOL. What I would like to add is that last night, one of the players that I left a reply for here surprised me in-game with an invite. I'll admit, I was a bit nervous, this being the first time I've gone on headset and played with anyone. He was younger, lol, yeah, but a pure gentleman. He was patient with me, answer many questions I have had ( yeah, there's youtube and google, but it was nice bein' live with someone who knew), and ran some of the storyline stuff I'd been needing to do. We were on for hours, the end result was he brought me into Prison of Elders! I died many times over, but he was still a great sport about it all. LOL. That is awesome that you had a really good encounter, way more productive then my first group experience on Destiny. Mine was getting yelled at by some young punk because I didn't clear a PoE mine fast enough and we wiped. He then spent minutes yelling about not being able to play good enough... first and last time I did group things. Destiny is a game, and I play it as a game... not a life goal or award! Looking forward to running something later in the week if we can find a time. Again, glad to see you got a lot from the encounter... gives me hope. Keith

Keith, Uh, yeah, I wouldn't be putting up with that crap. Man, that's stuff that'd keep many of us 'mature' players away from groups. I totally agree with everything you wrote. Heck, I don't know a lot, but I do know enough to have fun if you want! LOL. That's why I log on, to have fun. Unfortunately, as you know, we've gotta weed through those little brats, LOL, to find some good folks. Heck, that 'young punk' woulda had a heart attack with me then, it seemed like all I was doing was dying. ROFL. But, don't get me wrong, I was constantly apologizing to the great young man I was fortunate to play with. He was fantastic. And, at the end of what seemed like I did absolutely nothing, this great player said, 'Get down here and get your reward!' I was embarrassed to accept the rewards! Hello Doogg, While not a 50+ member I am a 30+ member. I have completed all of the PVE end game content multiple times and wouldn't mind running through it with you.

Shoot, You mind adding me? I've been in the same situation as Doogg. I'm Titan, 28. I was tellin' Doogg that last night I was invited by someone I met here, he's a great guy, knew way more than me (not hard to do!), and we had a blast. For me, it was the first experience I've had on headset. I was nervous, but loved every hour we spent in Destiny! Because I've always been solo, I've missed out on all the end game stuff. POE last night was a first! But, uh, I died...a lot! LOL. Anyhow, I'm respect, ready to listen and learn and explore ...If you wouldn't mind me tagin' along. Thanks! Tag is RonTheTierHog. Ron
