Now is the joke uncalled for and a touchy topic? Sure. Did Nolan intend for it to be transphobic? I don't think so. The man obviously refers to Caitlyn as her preferred pronouns. If he was transphobic why give the respect. Now while the joke was probably uncalled for I don't think Nolan should be shunned in the same boat as transphobes.
