Btw, Urrox is a descendant of Oryx
How is that known? He is a Prince to none. He has Solar flames imbued in him, not green like Crota and Oryx. There are multiple Hive Gods.

Variks introduces him as "Urrox, Flame Prince, Scion of Oryx," A scion is a descendant

Edited by Legend of Jordy: 8/29/2015 7:01:28 AMI never heard that but that is really interesting. Makes sense if Green Flames is corrupted Solar Light since Eris being a Hunter was tainted with Green Solar Energy. So maybe Urrox never took the mantle by corrupting his Solar Light, maybe they all start like that. Makes you think a bit about the origins and society of the Hive.

There's a lot of interesting things Variks says that are lost because of his low, growling voice and the dramatic music in the Prison

Edited by Legend of Jordy: 8/29/2015 7:03:24 AMI don't play with volume but I read all the Grimoire and most weapon and armor descriptions. Nice to know there's more lore in the Dialog alone. Anyways, I'll get back and try to think of this riddle further.

Yeah, for instance, did you know after you defeat Crota's End, Eris starts to say things along the lines of, "What do I do now?"

News to me! She goes crazy In the new story mission when Oryx shows up. Like he's imprinted on her mind. Toland understands too much of the Hive if he taught her to become part of the Hive. Seems like she's constantly tuned into Hive radio.
-
She's a bit...unhinged. Her time among the Hive had seriously screwed with her. And yeah, she seems to be constantly tuned in to Hive radio
-
Toland learned to commune so he must have only taught Eris Morn how to listen as she is a Hunter. Kind of like how Dredgen Yor could only listen. I think we're getting somewhere.
-
I don't think Eris or Toland is headed the way of Yor. Even though Toland speaks/listens to the Darkness, they both still follow the Light of the Traveler. Dredgen accepted the Darkness into him, becoming a monster
-
Edited by Legend of Jordy: 8/29/2015 7:22:29 AMYeah. I was just saying how he was in a similar situation. Eris Morn says in a TTK mission how she will endure. I think Eris is meant to be a good character despite her appearance and roots. Toland knows more than most and is probably on top of it all being a Warlock, Osiris is like Toland but with Vex a bit more.
-
Yeah, Osiris and Toland are off their rockers a bit. But they're geniuses. I really hope they appear in future expansions. I have a feeling Osiris might be more involved in The Taken King
-
Edited by Legend of Jordy: 8/29/2015 7:26:50 AMI hope Osiris is never seen physically, he seems like a good Obi-wan kind of mentor for guardians. Like just keep him a treasure hunt of clues and discoveries for players to piece together. Toland needs to be seen, he's probably bad a-- looking.
-
I believe Osiris has been seen in the grimoire, and is communication and meeting with Eris and the Queen. And Toland would look sick. His obsession wth Hive magics has probably turned him into...something else

Edited by Legend of Jordy: 8/29/2015 7:30:26 AMIf he's more inhuman than Eris than ok, I'll take your word for it. I do like seeing SGA at the games intro kinda accidentally teasing Pahanin's story. More Grimoire characters and places coming visually in game would be nice.
