Red Death and the Messenger
Mk so I've noticed that the messenger is not only as good as, but better than Red Death and this should not be. For the main reason, RED DEATH IS AN EXOTIC! Sorry for yelling but come on. Why is a legendary beating out an EXOTIC in the stats that matter most? Yeah, when we get a kill with red death our health is restored, but hey, we need to get that freaking kill. And if I'm going against a gun with better fire rate, better stability, and I think better range, am I going to get that kill? Probably not. Unless the other guy has terrible aim. Can we two shot with the red death? Because I've never seen it. But guess what I hear all the time in reference to the messenger, 'oh it's so great because I can 2 shot people all the time'. Exotics are supposed to be the top tier in their weapon class, it's not right when you get lucky enough to be around Xur when he's selling it or damned lucky enough to find it as a drop and then switch back to your legendary because the [b]EXOTIC[/b] you just got was crap in comparison to it. I don't really know if Bad Juju is good or not but if something has to be said for the sake of Red Death, well then maybe that's proof enough that it needs to be looked at again too. Now I'm not asking you to make the Red death a 'god amongst men' in reference to all the weapons in Destiny. But, I am asking you to make sure that the exotics are the 'gods amongst men' of their respective weapon class. For example, Thorn and the Last Word... Need I say more? I shall anyways, Thorn is a two shot weapon (which apparently pulse rifles can be) in the right hands (until it's nerfed of course). And if you are in a 1v1 against the freaking Last Word... (Mafia voice) Fugget about it... You're dead. Billy the Kid right there. Gjally is not even worth going into detail about, we all know what it does. My point is that the pulse rifle exotics need to be 'gods amongst men' when talking about pulse rifles, Red Death in particular. Anything less than the best (for Red Death) is a felony :P. So that is my request Bungie. Make the exotic pulse rifles live up to what it means to be an exotic.

Red death came out before the expansions and suffers the problem of being best in class in the past but now it's got competitors no one planned for. This has been a Bungie trend as there playing their cards as it goes on they tend to trip over past decisions and the old gets replaced by the new with little consideration for the future ie the thorn buff, auto nerf, vex nerf The solution would be to buff one stat on the red death or give it head seeker Rebuff auto rifles and make SUROS behave like a scout whole ads Give vex a major stability boost so smart drift isn't a necessity The problem is Bungie won't make weekly hot fixes for fear of Giving away that they are running blind and that the fixes might cause issues and need to take the game down The point is Bungie made a lot of mistakes and will never fix them as we have seen from the chaos of weapon balance and the bugs and basic overlooks is give us X good weapons and X/2 vault space Until we get full transparency this stupidity will continue The irony of it all is that Bungie rely so strongly in feedback that to not have direct lines of communication on the forum is borderline delusional, they say they feel like a small studio even though they have legions of people working for them, but the idea that the CMs behave like advertisers and PR reps is so painfully similar to the way that EA and Activision do business that really is a sign of how downhill the game industry is headed
