I main a warlock but i spent most of last week using my hunter. Id say their subclasses are not weak in pvp but too underpowered in pve. I got Sum of all Tears with my bladedancer in a rumble match the other day. 5+ kills with arcblade if you've got it setup right and time it perfectly.

Blade dancer super takes no skill. Use hungering blade and spam RB or R1

none supers take any skill besides maybe sunsinger.

U have to aim nova bomb. Fist of panic can be a huge fail with the wrong perks in the right situation Golden gun is by far the hardest super to use. Ppl hear it and usually scatter or camp with a shotty. Defender is another super that can be challenging to use effectively. To have a successful bubble, u have to count supers and use the suppressor grenade affectivley. Also the position of the bubble can really make a difference. Sunsinger , it really depends if on game mode and what exotics u are running.
