Considering the bibile in no way makes such a claim, young earth creationists are morons. Also, the Old testament itself is possibly as old at 4,000 years old.

Because the Old Testament is the English translation of the Quran and Torah.

Considering the Quran is not as old as the new testament. Quran was wrote in early 600 ad. The old testament is more of a conciliation of the Torah and other scrolls that date back more then 2000 years. Also the Quran borrows from some of the same scrolls the the new testament (200ad) was wrote from. This makes the Quran younger then the new testament. Knowledge is only half the battle.
