The original idea is that human history from the moment Adam became mortal to our present represents a period of 6,000 years, it is not an exact digit obviously since our measure of time is a little off :D or a lot haha, but that's the idea, not that Earth is 6,000 years old :/

And yet we found a dildo dating back 28,000 years. So unless primates made dildos back then, I'm inclined to believe it was made by an ancestor of humanity. :3

Google is trustable. All you need to do is make sure you find multiple sources though. If you're getting the same results across the board from trusted sites then its more likely to be legitimate. :/

More likely!? Not really, that sounds more like popular opinion and that changes constantly, we are humans after all. Now if we talk about studies then either it is proven or not. Don't just follow the majority just because it is mainstream or popular, look for your own answers whenever you can.

Whatever. When there's ten reports of the same thing, I'm going to agree with the eight reports all supporting each other. It's only logical. That's how research and experiments are done. You test things multiple times and average the results. So why wouldn't you do the same here. Why would you choose the minority which is more likely to be incorrect?

Yeah, test and experiments work decent, faith helps too but not alone, faith and works (experimenting and testing) enables knowledge, or also refer to as "personal revelation" as I've experienced. So I share the same understanding on that, kind of :D

Well its not like you and I have the resources to test for decomposition in the item above in the op. So if majority of the tests agree its X years old I'm more inclined to believe that than the minority claiming its something else. It's not that I side with popular belief, its that I favour more tests and experiments over less tests and experiments. That of course is assuming that each person who gave a report had their own individual test to contribute with.
