Over 400 dragon strikes, no hopscotch pilgrim!
Ok, so I just went through and counted my dragon strikes for the last 2-3 weeks (that's when I started grinding for HP). I have done 404 dragon strikes without getting HP to drop for me, I've seen it drop 6 times, none for me. I have gotten every other vanguard exclusive weapon multiple times, I've gotten 5 exotics and even a full sets of hunter armor. But no Hopscotch Pilgrim.
What's going on here?
Is hopscotch not in my loot table?
Pls bungie can I get an answer?

Well I never got the HP, and now it's all over because bungie cut dragon strikes a week before TTK came out.
Yes I am a bit salty about this, when it was all said and done I had done about 450 dragons and about 40 PoE. I had 6 exotics drop for me and saw 6 hopscotches drop for other people.

Took me about 150. Then I was helping a friend who is new the the game get some good crucible guns, he got it in 3 strikes.

1 ReplyMore advice Mr Twigg: 1. Find a running partner or two. Obviously you want to clear those strikes as fast as possible, the end rewards are all your looking at from the time the strike starts. Get a good buddy or two that aren't in there shooting every add and taking their time. I would leave my teams behind and beating the boss while they weren't even on my radar anymore. I'm sure after 400 strikes, you know this. 2. Although I've done the grind, I know where your sanity level has to be right now. So Even though I've done that grind, I know how helpful it is to have a running buddy. If you need me, I'm on xbox1 gamer tag is name, so friend me and I'll set aside some time to run with you. Shark

1 ReplyThis sounds like a post I made about a month ago. I did over 400 strikes and when it didn't drop, I spent countless hours grinding level 28 PoEs. Like 15 hours. When it didn't work there, I went back to strikes. If I had like 10-15 minutes to spare, I would turn on my Xbox and run one strike. That's how -blam!-ing ridiculous it got for me. It was like the more time I spent looking for the gun the more obsessed I got with it. I felt cursed too, but your numbers seem almost the same as mine. In all that time, I saw around 5-6 drop and was crushed when I realized that not only was it lucky to EVEN SEE ONE, but that if I did there was 2/3's chance it would go to another player. And probably the a-hole that crouched in the corner behind the rock while I beat the strike for him. It was the biggest grind I've ever taken part of in this game and won't do anything like it again. I did get this gun to drop. It was one of those times where I just had a few minutes and decided I would run a quick strike. It dropped. The biggest relief ever. Some people get it and don't even care or they're not even grinding for it. Sometimes, the situation is more like ours. Ps, it's a great gun, but not a game changer. After the nerf to stability in pulse rifles in the TTK, it may not be near what it is now. My advice...stop looking. Just do strikes when you can, but don't overdue it. Run PoEs a couple times a week. I feel like, if you stop looking, you'll find it. A common theme in this game. However I do feel your pain and frustration to the fullest. BEST OF LUCK GUARDIAN!

2 RepliesDo PoE lvl 28 instead. I've had 2 Pilgrims from the small chests at the end and I haven't done that many lvl 28's, so hopefully it wouldn't take too long for you to get one :-)

I have 3 hopscotch pilgrims lol in 87 strikes. Keep trying mate it's worth it!!!!! This week only using hopscotch on my warlock some best matches were 23-3 18-1 15-0 22-5 17-2 These were my best 5 games this week ONLY USING HOPSCOTCH NO secondary or heavy lol

Skip a day. Don't play Destiny at all. Then do PoE 28. That's what I did. Got it on my 3rd after an uncountable amount of strikes and PoEs

4 RepliesWhy hunt it, I just use Praedyth's Timepiece, people only seem to try and recreate the Praedyths by rerolling hopscotch perks to the same thing.
