Hell yes! First weapon FTW. They should make it into an exotic. Upon completion, it is like brand new with crazy amounts of tacti-cool accessories in on it. Enjoy: Khvostov 7g-02 Mark IV An ancient weapon, battered, bruised, and, at long last, lovingly brought back to its Golden Age prime by an unknown Master benefactor. Perk 1: Glass Half Full Perk 2: Hammer forged Exotic Perk: I've seen some--*expletive deleted* Fires explosive rounds that over penetrate. Precision kills increase reload speed.

  • My question, is logically speaking, how would rounds overpenetrate if they explode?

    They over penetrate, however, as they cause damage due to over penetration, they explode. Think of it like hard light and explosive rounds perks fused into one.

  • So not overpenetrate. Because overpenetrating would make it seem the bullet goes through and keeps going. But it can't if it explodes.

    I understand that in reality this is impossible; however, it's a video game, so why not have rounds that over penetrate and each time they do they cause explosive damage? Half of the weapons in this game defy logic. For example, a 13-round hand cannon that clearly can only hold 6 rounds in its drum magazine; fusion rifles don't exist; the vex, whose mechanism is who knows but clearly couldn't function; black hammer that never runs out of ammo, etc. Even the enemies such as the Fallen have bullets that track you like the needler from Halo. And it's supposed to exotic. Why not actually have a truly "exotic" perk.
