Titan Defender Subclass in PvP - Indestrucable Bubble

Overall the Titan is the weakest class in PvP. And in all honesty should be renamed because it is not worthy of the name "Titan". Titans "abilities" are simply out-classed by the Hunter and Warlock in PvP. The proof is in the stats. And if you do more analysis, you are sure to find that the majority of the communities best players do not use the Titan in PvP, especially not in Trials. Read the description of the Titan class and tell me if it feels true in PvP. Titan are challenging to compete with because you are so disadvantaged. You have to primarily rely on being a very good shooter or on the opposing team huddling together in a control match and not paying attention to the radar, but that radar thing only applies to the Striker Class. S lets look at the Titan Defender and its "indestructible bubble" or "super cancelling bubble". First neither are true so please stop. The Hunters Golden Gun can down the Defenders bubble in 2 shots with 1 to 2 shots left in its barrel. Winner - Hunter Golden Gun. The Hunter Blade Dancer appear to have the strongest overshield in the game and can kill you both inside and outside your bubble. Lol yeah go ahead and wear you "Helm of Saint-14," it wont help you. In both cases your bubble goes down and likely teabagged. "Well wait a minute, the defender can survive if he has that Armor of Light,"....hm maybe. And that's a BIG maybe, but in the end its all unlikely. Now the Warlock. The Warlock Voidwalker's super has perk that can not only cancel or take out the defenders bubble, but it can also kill everyone inside the "indestructible" bubble. You don't say. That's right, use the nova bomb that splits into 3 projectiles and you will not only down the bubble but you will kill everything near and inside the bubble. The Titan Striker will do the same damage. All die within the bubble. The Titan Defender is not a Threat in PvP. Especially not in the hands of your day to day players. Yeah there are few that will make the argument that they are amazing but these people are "playing" and are not "competing" and in some cases they are just a very good player all round and are not your avg. THOUGHT 1. The Titan Defenders Bubble should be "IN-DE-STRUCT-ABLE". 2. Bladedancer is a weapons and should not be allowed to come in the bubble while active. 3. Maybe the defender should get some PvP points if team get kills while under Weapons or Blessings of Light. ***Guarantee you will see a balance of Titan Defender use in PvP just from the above changes if not just from [1.].*** FUTURE IDEAS 1a. Could the Bubble trap players? Allow enemies to go inside the bubble but prevents them from exiting the bubble. Maybe a new exotic would allow that feature. That way Armor of Light would be more useful. It should also closely resemble a current exotic and not the "Helm of Saint-14" because no one goes inside those bubble in PvP accept Bladedancers. 1b. Exotic or Perk that prevents enemies from entering the bubble. Enemies that try get electrocuted and die or receive some set damage. Lol or maybe it just bounces enemies back away from the bubble in which case they could potentially die from hitting stationary objects; similar to hitting people with sparrows. 1c. Exotic or Perk that allows the Titan to shrink the Bubble killing enemies trapped inside. This related to [1a.] above. 1d. Exotic to allow the Defender Only or Team, while inside the bubble, to shoot outside the bubble. At least in this scenario they have a chance if the bubble is not made "indestructible". This perk would also allow the Titan who created the bubble to shoot inside the bubble. This is useful for when a titans bubble gets hijacked by the enemy team in PvP....Lol which is really funny when it happens. 2. I am also thinking of COOP Supers, whereby one guardian creates the super and another can enhance it in some way shape or form. Such as the Titan Defender creates a bubble and a Warlock Voiwalker can make it last longer or emit shockwaves from it etc...

  • The Defender may benefit if suppression were added to the effects of the ward of dawn I feel the Titan melee needs a revision (not shoulder change) it has the highest risk level with the lowest chance of payoff. I suggest buffing Titan melee damage
