Bungie isn't blocking, muting, or removing these petitions.
See, a forum ninja commented on one, and said that once a post gets too many reports, the forum system itself temporarily removes it until a ninja can review it.
So, you aren't being censored by Bungie.
You're being censored by [i]the community itself[/i]. They're tired of seeing 7 million posts about it. They're tired of you spamming up other threads with it. Bungie already has their plan in place and it's too late to change it.
Is it the wrong plan? Maybe. But they've already said some more weapons may find their way to Year 2. I think we need to wait and see at this point.

Maybe people are just getting sick of the way bungie does things. It's sad though, because they do censor ppl. Last week I wrote a post about why I am still playing destiny. No curses, no rants, it was just logic. It was removed. What makes it sad is either way Activision wins. The ppl that don't get TTK are most likely going to get black ops 3. Personally I've already preordered star wars. If you don't think that nerfing weapons that are going to be obsolete is stupid then I guess you just work for bungie. What about they finally getting ready to buff the necrocasm and that is going to be obsolete as well. Or the fact that when the community wanted match making for endgame, the response was that it's made to play with friends. Which is cool. But then why Nerf ghallahorn because ppl aren't getting picked up in LFG? Also why waste the time nerfing black hammer if it's being left at year one levels.

Well this is [i]their[/i] game and they can do what they want with it. People can play more then one game, if they can't then I feel sorry for them. I played the beta for Blops3, it's OK. Just another CoD game is all the impression I got from playing it. They aren't nerfing the weapons, they are attempting to balance them. A hand cannon should not shoot anywhere near as accurate as a scout rifle. Also they are mostly changing the perks on the guns. Maybe because these perks will populate over to new weapons and they want them to work correctly. Not everyone that agrees with a decision needs to work for Bungie, they don't have that many employees. Maybe they just don't care to add matchmaking to everything. Since they added it to the weekly and it isn't optional, I doubt if they added it to anything else it would be. Maybe they are just working on a way for it too be optional then they'll talk about and add it. It's not like they can just slap things together.

Well, here's the thing. Like I said in my post, your topic wasn't necessarily moderated by a Ninja. If enough people reported it (and I'm sure they did, most of us don't care why you're leaving - if you're going to, just do it) it would disappear on its own, poof! into the aether. In addition, due to the way Light is averaged and then used as our new Attack/Defense value for [i]all[/i] equipped weapons and armor, these guns will still be quite strong without nerfs (Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn specifically). If the new Light maximum is 400 (speculation), and Year 1 gear is capped at 160 (current based on stream), then the following is true: With ten gear slots total (4 Armor, 3 Weapon, Ghost, Artifact, Class Item), if you equip Black Hammer and Light 400 stuff, all of your stuff will function at Attack/Defense 376. Which is 24 less than if you had a 400 special weapon. Probably completely usable, and possibly even over kill, for most of the content. Judging by Bungie's record so far, the only time you'll need max Light is for the Raid and Trials/Iron Banner. Without the nerfs these weapons would be so good that people would continue to use them despite their low Attack value. Bungie doesn't want you to feel bad about upgrading. Hence, nerfs to guns being left behind. The buff to Necrochasm is not (really) one as such. All they really did is set its stability back to normal after the auto rifle stability nerf and give it a guaranteed chance to proc the explosion. They might have plans for it in the future, maybe even in this DLC, and it just isn't ready yet.

We don't need eleventy billion threads on the one issue. I'm sure Bungie get it, some people aren't happy, yet there are others that are happy for it to move on. Bungie isn't going to make everyone happy.

There's a million threads about everything here. I get some people go overboard but it's also with things like new exotics. Mostly I think that comes from ppl using the app and not searching. And some ppl do get super annoying. Doesn't change the fact that bungie seems to have very flawed logic

I think its funny people dont report the 12 billion " im ur mom ama" threads, but they report these. Our concerns dont hurt those that disagree at all. Even if yr 1 guns ascend, NO ONE is saying dont use the new guns. Boring using the same gun for 10 yrs? No one is forcing anyone to, and it didnt get boring in Halo, where a lot of players come from.
