It has the highest base aim assist of any legendary sniper rifle along with the shortage which adds even more aim assist. That's why people say it's crutchy.

If I remember correctly it's lower. I would have to check though. Planet destiny has all of the stats on their website.

89 aim assist with the right perks, highest a sniper can get. You also don't have to deal with shitty perks like shank burn.
