I kinda agree with you, but still, I'd bet if you swapped out that sov for a efrideets with ambush (so more or less 0 aa) the shots you would've have gone for with efrideets won't come off anywhere near as often as they would have if you stuck with the sov, I only say this as I've been in quite a few trials and even normal pvp matches where someone's using praedyths revenge to shoot at me with (I like to check loadputs of the guy sniping at me) not all the time but if they get me first I'll usually check, and saw many go from using a low aa sniper to a her boner, sov etc etc, to help with their game, and in trials it has seemed to from my perspective. I'm not salty, people will use what they want, but changing out is not always going to just be for personal preference , it's because the higher aa helps them get kills they don't feel they could without it. Which in my eyes makes them somewhat less skilled with their own hands , without the aa in play.
